I’m writing this post because DAISY LIST is all about DREAMS and DREAMERS. I LOVE talking to people about their DREAMS. It’s my favorite subject to talk about. That and Art.
“ART the unfolding manifestation of hibernating Dreams.”
Most artist are filled with creative ideas that are designed to bring beauty, joy, happiness, positive energy and light into our very souls. Every artist is an instrument of God used to bring all of us things that will provoke good energy and bear good fruit.
Everyone is an artist in one way or another, however many of us don’t have the faith to follow those artistic impulses. It takes TRUE GRIT to follow an impulse that friends and family, for one reason or another, will try to talk us out of.
I for one am positive that the Good Lord intended all great Art and Artist to be used for the good and as a Gift for all society.
Recently I had the good fortune to listen to a very inspiring speech by a young man that has known since childhood what he was meant to do. He has turned that childhood Dream into a passionate career and his life’s work.
His name is Jordan K. Lima aka “Kayinentertainment”
A few weeks ago, I attended memorial services for Jordan’s father. Jordan gave an eloquent speech about his father that left everyone in the church spellbound. Although the speech itself was powerful, it was what I learned about this young man AFTER the speech that inspired me to write this post.
Against many of his friends and family advise, Jordan knew at 5 what was in his soul. But more importantly, the rest of the story was between himself and God. Jordan had the faith and grit to go after the DREAM that had been planted in his heart as a little boy.
I encourage you to take a look at Kayin’s facebook and Instagram posts and read a copy of the speech. Not sure it will have the same impact, because it was the delivery that was extraordinary. But it is well worth a read. Such a tribute to his father. There is no doubt his father and his mother were strong motivators for him.
It made me reflect on all the things and all the ways that people have opportunities to inspire millions of people every day. Things that can result in GREAT works of Art, or new inventions, or new technology, cures for illness, the list is endless.
All sorts of artistic things can provoke others to live passionate lives, for instance, Kayin’s music, or a small painting, a large mural, a fabulously prepared meal, an exquisite gown, a unique haircut, an extraordinary piece of jewelry, a “can’t put it down” book, a beautifully designed piece of furniture, a touching photo, a sculptor, poem, film, beautifully designed house, a beautifully decorated home, and the list goes on and on.
You name it, all of these things have the ability to stir energy for producing Grand and wonderful things. These things can touch that “GOD shaped hole” in our hearts that motivate us to accomplish GREAT things.
My message here, learn how to use any and all of those things to get you going down “YOUR DREAM” path. Expand your view, look at everything as a source of energy, inspiration and motivation.
I guess what I’m trying to say is start looking and observing EVERYTHING as a piece of ART in all of its forms as an inspiration for “YOUR DREAM”!
Use everything you see as a motivator for pursuing your DREAMS, because once you see LIFE as ART, you’ll be on your way to manifesting the DREAMS that will lead you to LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE NOW!
