“The more you praise and celebrate your life,
the more there is in your LIFE to CELEBRATE.”
Oprah
Hello Family & Friends,
As you know, I was designing my Gluten Free 30 Day Diet Challenge to help me manage my Arthritis crisis (Arthur) and then Bang! Foiled again!
I was at my daughters for her Birthday, and the Columbus Day week-end. Which made it a DOUBLE challenge for me, TRYING to keep up with my GLUTEN free commitment.
In addition to that, my daughter is a foodie. She LOVES trying new foods, and she’ll try anything. Not so much me. She also loves to dine out and or order a full feast and have it delivered by Uber. I’ll let you know how that all works out for me.
Another hurdle will be the “CAKE”. She INSISTS on a “CAKE” for her birthday. She has this thing about EVERYONE should have a “CAKE” on their birthday. I’m not a big “CAKE” eater.
I’m going to do my best.
Maybe she’ll consider a GLUTEN FREE CAKE.
Well, here’s the update, my daughter tortured me and challenged my commitment to the tenth degree.
We went out every day either for lunch or dinner. We had some fabulous meals at some GREAT restaurants.

Terrific food. Reminded us of the Cape back home.
Great Menu and the Food was delicious.
Oysters and Mussels, I was never an oyster fan, but these were GREAT.
Next day, BRUNCH at Dutch’s Daughter
Fantastic!
The place was beautiful and the spread was GREAT.
One of my favorite foods has always been crab. Well, I’m up to my eyebrows with crab right now. Crab cakes, crab dip, crab soup, scrambled eggs with crab, you name it, they had crab everything. So delicious though.
Needless to say, I blew my challenge out the window, but hey, I was a captive prisoner, what could I do? Don’t JUDGE! But it’s okay, I’ll be extending the challenge on the other end of the month.
MOVING ON and Resetting my Gluten Free 30 day Challenge !!!
