CHEERS TO the CHERRY’s
“A successful marriage means falling in LOVE over and over with the same person.”
POST 2018-14
Hello my BEST LIFE now readers,
Although I thought I would never be officiating at another wedding, here I am AGAIN, and I just had to share a peek with you of what’s coming!
Throughout the years, I’ve sort of become a surrogate aunt and or Godmother to many of my friends children and I LOVE being a surrogate to all of them.
So after I thoroughly enjoyed doing Kristina & Sean’s wedding last year, I’ve agreed to do another one, for the daughter of another good friend, Missouri. The bride’s name is Kyra.
Both Kristina and Kyra are so awesome I couldn’t resist, two beautiful young women inside and out. Not Bridezillas at all.
But when I was asked to do Kyra’s wedding, I had to really think about it. With all that I had going on with the Blog, I was concerned that I might not be able to give her wedding my full attention and commitment.
But once I agreed, I was full on. I made my “list” of things to do and got busy. First things first, I already knew the bride but I wanted to get to know the groom. I prepared my usual questionnaire for both of them to fill out.
Then I scheduled a meeting with both of them to talk about their answers. Just a fun thing I like to do. I try to incorporate some fun history into the ceremony. I was so impressed with both of them, they were so relaxed and genuinely happy I knew I had made the right decision.
Then I received my “Save the Date” in the mail.
Well, let’s see, give me a minute here, I’m going through Webster’s Dictionary to see if I can find the words to describe the “package”. Oops, nope, can’t find the words, so I’ll let you see the cover and the back of the package for yourself. For the rest of the 8 pages, yes I said eight pages, you’ll have to go on line. Believe me it’s worth it.
I will say no more!
Just breath and enjoy!
Do I have the words to express how happy I am to be officiating at this wedding? From the looks of things, this wedding might just rival the wedding across the pond.
So HAPPY to be part of this wedding, I’ll keep you posted.
Watch this space for the BIG EVENT!
